It's About Time!

And keeping up the theme of "time"...I thought you all should know the happenings of our day last Thursday while my hubby was on vacation. Here's the time line:

7:45am - Lauren comes in to our bedroom for a milk request. Request granted and proceeded to find the warm spot in the covers.

9:42am - Wake-up call from the husband proclaiming that it's "10am" and we are all still sleeping. huh? 10am? Did aliens abduct the kids? Wait, they just woke up too. Glad they both have the "sleeping gene".

10:30am - Decide the zoo is the place to be. Better hurry up with the cereal for breakfast.

11:40 am - Grande Pikes Place in a Venti cup with cream and sugar stirred. Oh and a Venti ice water, please.

12:15 pm - At the zoo realizing it's school day. Sweet we are here with every Kindergartner with in the 3 surrounding counties! Sweet!

1pm - Hit up the Winged Wonder Bird Show. Who knew Fresno's Zoo could be so entertaining?

3:15pm - Take 2 over exhausted, sleepy, cranky kids and 2 hungry parents home.

3:55pm - Chicken burrito, Veggie Bowl and chips & guacamole from Chipotle for Linner.

4:45 pm - Nap time for everyone.

6:05pm - A family walk to Rite-Aid for a single scoop in a cone ... all around. (except Maggie.)

7:15pm - No dinner due to overly large and gorging late lunch/dinner. No dishes! Mama is super happy!

8:30pm - Kids to bed.

9pm - Disc 2 of the BBC's version of Pride & Prejudice for Mama and Daddy.

11:40pm - Bedtime with no alarm set and hopes for another "10am" wake-up call.

Now that's what I call a good TIME vacation!
